Good bye, pork pie

Those who know me know my home town is the centre of the Pork Pie universe so it seemed only fitting that we bought one yesterday and I had a delicious pork pie and salad tea :)  A few nibbles in between times and there isn't much left today - pork pie is back on the shopping list.

Went to hospital a bit before the 'official' visiting hours.  Mum had a good night apparently and seems much more awake and alert which is great.  In fact, she had an excellent afternoon and only began to get a bit drowsier later on.
 
Still waiting on an Oxford transfer time and date.  I'm guessing they'll just turn up at Mum's bed and announce that she's going, rather like they turned up at her bed today and announced that she was being transferred wards as they needed her bed for someone who had just come out of surgery.  Have to say though that the medical and nursing staff have been excellent.  Lots of smiles, always cheery, very obliging and gentle, efficient, patient.......we have only praise for them all :)
