Mine.

A few days ago, I was in my local picture framers and something propped backwards against the wall caught my eye. When the guy turned the big screen print round I recognised it immediately.

Bob Stewart is a very famous Scottish designer and artist, who was once the head of textiles at Glasgow School of Art. He's also the late uncle of a former boyfriend of mine, so I know his work very well. If you've seen the tapestry that adorns St Kentigern's tomb in Glasgow Cathedral, that's Bob Stewart. He designed lots of ceramic murals for late 50s and 60s municipal buildings and social housing. He also designed some unmistakable and very beautiful prints for Liberty. Once you know his work, you'll see him everywhere.

You can read more about him here.

I was thrilled to see this big mural, beautifully stretched, ready to be hung in some lucky person's home.

Infact, I was so taken, I went home and bought one for myself. I couldn't afford it but art does that to me sometimes. It will make me very happy. I can't wait to hang it ❤️
