...and so we did.
Lunch with foodie mate S at Long Chim, David Thompson's gorgeous 'Thai street food' restaurant in the basement of the renovated State Buildings (with it's very own 6 * Hotel as well).
He is quite a bloke..Michelin stars, listed in the ducks nuts of world restaurants and here he is in Perth.

and DON'T expect dumbed down spice and heat...a la Chaing Mai Chicken Larb... but do expect the most delicious flavours and combinations to arrive  on your table.

And not only spice at the table but hey lucky us, David T was in the restaurant and not only signed a copy of his cook book for S but hey there is a photo too! (extra)

For visitors to Perth who like a like spice in their culinary life don't leave here without a visit (book early!!).
