Another Round In

A meet up again with the old school chums (tomorrow is the 50th anniversary of the move to the new High School, 1966, Harold Wilson and all that, y'see). So the six of us supped some beers and headed to the game. What appalling entertainment it was. Scottish football at its worst. Three points from a soft penalty, so can't whine too much.
Afterwards, there was the usual chinwaggery with Rog(middle) and AJ (right) when we were joined by GMcC (left) one of the aforementioned chums. Funny the things that stick with you from schooldays (apart from the obvious.....). G was remembering how the art school teachers (a nest of revolutionary communist dudes) had lambasted us as 'colour supplement kids.' I remember it well. They did well enough from teaching us their pish, I do recall. And earlier NT had remembered how he'd missed out being a prefect as the selection was based on a vote of everyone in the upper school and he had too low a profile. I had to divulge my dirty secret.. I similarly missed out from the popular plebiscite... but became a prefect anyway. Shhh... the staff were allowed a couple of picks. That's politics for you.
