A sign of spring

Instead of snowdrops, daffodils, and crocuses, our first sign of spring is often the redwing blackbird, and we are likely to hear it before we see it. I've been hearing them in the park for a week or more, but today is the first time I could get a clear shot of one. Serendipity!
