Amarylis abstracted.

Using this image as a starting point, i began with the idea of making a somewhat impressionistic interpretation....see extra which was just the water colour underpainting...which i actually liked...but as soon as i started adding pastels, well i just got carried away, and enjoyed myself thoroughly. Not sure it is done....but we're off for a hike and then dinner up in Sydney at this new Asian place....Thai food on Cape Breton Island...well that is something to get excited about!
