WILLOWS AND SNOWDROPS

As the day progressed it became colder, and the sky was full of big clouds.
So we planned a walk that would give us some shelter.
We drove to Dalhausen, and just outside the village we found a small road where we could start. It was there that I spotted the willows and the snowdrops beneath them.
We walked to the Klus Eddessen. We have been there two times before, but had come to the chapel and the small hermit's house from different
directions. The path we took today was by all means the nicest.
A bit climbing at the beginning, along a forest and fields, the path followed a little stream.
In the extra I show a picture of the chapel. There are Stations of the Cross around it. And here too, lots of snowdrops.
We saw the nun who lives here, she was gathering moss on wood.
We did want to return on a different path, it went through a forest and with a bit of adventure we managed to reach our car again.
I also put an extra photo, it shows young Mischa, in a dancing pose.
The dress I had made for her, after La Fille mal gardée, that we had seen on tv. Later we even saw a real performance of it in Mühlhou sen.
I had wrote a comment at Gown Girl's journal about it, and now I want to show it.

My haiku:

The old willows want
To protect the innocent
Snowdrops if they can

And the proverb:

Innocence is no protection.

1605   B. Jonson, Sejanus, IV, i.
