...to a dried out daffodil

although dry, it has retained its appearance - remarkably well, don'tcha think? - i am amazed that after sitting in a vase - for well over 2 weeks - this little daffodil blossom is still - looking so good in color as well as sturdiness - true, it is rather paper-like - but other than very minor tweaking (cropping and shooting in high key) it's straight out of the camera - having a bit of cheery yellow was necessary - as more snow flakes were rapidly flying - through the skies again today - making for an overcast and gray day outside - yet seeing this yellow - couldn't stand in the way of making it still...
