After visiting the very excellent 'Strange and familiar: Britain as revealed by international photographers' yesterday at the Barbican, the expression kept repeating in my mind. Especially as I had been discussing with Gary how are part of West London had changed.

There is a part of the Harrow road which stretches from Elgin to Third Avenue which perhaps best epitomises the melting pot of cultures on this road. The shop front just seems to epitomise people and stuff and more stuff.
