A Parisian in Capri

I kept noticing the patterns straw hats were creating on everyone's faces as we strolled around Ana Capri today Thought I'd have a go trying to capture it. My boy was particularly taken with this lovely Parisian lady.

We had such a lovely day in Capri today. I woke this morning with a miserable cold (not at all pleased about that) but luckily it never got too hot today. We took it at a very gentle pace. I might have liked to have seen more of the coast but the thought of getting on a speed boat with a pounding headache did not appeal tremendously.

We have been very surprised how warm and welcoming the locals have been. Especially as the place is over run by demanding tourists. Everywhere we have visited we have been welcomed like family. They are all particularly concerned that the lad has enough to eat. Bringing him extra morsels to sample and free slices of pizza. He rather likes that.

We are having a really wonderful trip. The young couple are heavenly and very inclusive of the brother. Cat has us in stitches every night with her funny anecdotes. She's been so helpful as well and such great company. We love it when she travels with us.
