Splash zone

Oh I love the sunshine. It makes me smile. We've had a few un-smiley moments today, but this has been my highlight of the day - watching the mini pinks playing in the paddling pool.

We started off far too early for a family in which it's youngest member wasn't asleep at 11.30pm. We headed out to Rev. Gill's Messy Church which was lovely. I loved the fact that Master Pink is feeling secure enough there now to go off on his own to do the crafts while I help Miss Pink. We join up half way through to do some activities together. It ended with a picnic in the gardens....how perfect when the weather was so lovely.

Miss Pink has been very tired, and on a hair-trigger all day. But this afternoon we got the paddling pool out and filled it up. The little slide is just the right size to make a water slide. they had a brilliant time running around completely starkers and sliding into the paddling pool. hooray for summer.
