BUTTERFLY

A small tortoiseshell landed for a minute on the yellow flowers in our garden. And two white butterflies as well.
Although we heard it rain before we got up, it had stopped when we raised and the sun was our companion during the day.
It felt like a holiday. We did little jobs in the garden, with enough time to rest, and read, and dream away.
And again we were shocked when we heard of the terrorist attack in Turkey. It is so hard to imagine that not all people around the globe want peace for themselves and children.

My haiku:

It is a bit quiet
In the garden we wait for
More butterflies arriving

And the proverb:

Where drums beat, laws are silent.

(Cicero Pro milone)
