Into The Unknown

By lindastuff

Shout, shout, let it all out .....

We went to the huge market in Dorchester today- no traffic jams despite the Olympics down the road in Weymouth. Here is the very smart Town Crier doing his thing outside the house that The Mayor of Casterbridge was said to have lived in, in Thomas Hardy's novel of the same name.
On the way back to Swanage we parked on the cliff at Osmington where there were quite a few people with large binoculars watching the races, which seemed nearer than to Weymouth. Then a heavy sea mist descended
I felt sorry for all the people who have paid for tickets to sit on a damp patch of grass in Weymouth to look at the mist!
