Thursday 2 August 2012: Guardian Geese

Some people say geese are the best guard pets - even better than dogs?? - because they run around cackling and impressively flapping their wings and can land a nasty bite.

Sometimes I have to cross a colony of these birds and every time I'm being suspiciously watched and hissed at.

But when I fearless look back like they could also look good on my plate they automatically make a passage for me to pass.

I guess, i'll take the guardian dog ;-)
