Coves

Up a bit later, had breakfast and headed out. I was keen to see Dartmouth as S had spent so long there with the Navy and she spoke about it so much.
We had a wander round the harbour after booking tickets on the river cruise later.
At the end there were these coves , pretty cool.
Had a look in a few shops then onto the boat. A 1.5hr river cruise with commentary. He had a sense of humour so made it amusing.

Off that, had lunch by the water then we drove along to a few beaches. Unfortunately they were pebble beaches and agony to walk down. But we did it and had a paddle. Sat for a while on the beach wall chatting and people watching.

A drive to Dittisham . We found a play park by the water and sat on the swings chatting for ages. Walked along to the pier and pub! Sat outside with a few drinks watching the harbour activity which included watching a woman fall into the water after sitting at the edge! 2 men tried to get our but couldn't, so she had to swim to the end of the pier .
That was our entertainment for the night.
Around 9pm we went into the pub for something to eat .

Home, exhausted, straight to bed. 

A brilliant day.
