Once More

Up town at 12 sharp! The boys had organised a bit of a curtain raiser to
the SPFL. Brunch at the Clock Cafe in Dalry - a big traditional breakfast, a photo of which had to be added to FaceBook of course. But once scoffed, it was still far too early to go to the game. Only one thing for it - a stop off at the Diggers to cleanse the palate. So, to the game. And despite losing a goal in the 8th minute, Hearts dug in and got a deserved equaliser from the penalty spot after the referee adjudged Walker to have been impeded in the box (this really is maroon glasses reporting here). But the second half was even stevens until the thumb popped up again. We weren't downcast. No, instead we retraced our steps but had a malt instead of breakfast. Mustard. Good spirits all round.
Later, up town to Deep Time - the film and light display up on the Castle Rock inspired by James Hutton, father of geology, n'that with music by Mogwai. Absolutely stunning; it really was. I was gripped and stood in awe and wonder like a small child. Fabulous. Really fabulous.
Roll on the last week!
