Today’s the day .................. to get away from it all

It’s Will’s birthday today – so as a special treat I’ve arranged for us to go away somewhere special for a couple of nights.

We’re in the Forest of Bowland, one of our favourite places.  This is the view from our bedroom window, down over the Valley of the River Hodder to the distinct shape of Pendle Hill on the far horizon.  We’re staying in a wonderful place and we’re being looked after very well.
