to blip or not to blip?

(assisted by McAlice, who took time out from a busy audition schedule to build the set)

that is the question. but what's the answer? to be honest i don't really know. i've been mulling it over for a while now and i still am no clearer in my head......................i do know that i have been blipping for the sake of blipping these last few months.........mainly because if i found some new inspiration i didn't want to break a perfect run. i mean come on 500 days without a gap! i've never kept any sort of journal for longer than a few days. so for creating such a simple and straightforward way to keep a journal i must share part of this feat with joe. so thanks mr twinkly camera, this really is a great site to be a part of.
this would now bring me to those sinister and nameless few, known only collectively as "the mods". despite a few run ins over the last 500 days these guys have a pretty thankless task of making sure things are kept civil on here. now as far as i know they don't get paid for this so they are in fact giving up their own free time to do it. as i said, i have had occasion to question a thing or two when i have been suspended but they are generally quite reasonable with their enforcement of the rules, so i say thank you to you guys who give this place a little extra edge. also thanks to the other faceless many who help keep blip going.

...............ok so acceptance speech over! well it sort of started off like one.
so that really only leaves me to thank you guys. having been part of blip for so long now i have gotten to know quite a lot of you out there and i can only apologise for my lack of commenting. it does have a lot to do with just posting then pretty much just logging off. really haven't felt "in the game" so to speak............................i blame this shitty winter weather and the long dark nights. oh how i despise the winter. wouldn't mind so much if we had a decent snowy winter but they are just so dark and drab (although admittedly it has been really sunny during the day here of late) but that doesn't change the fact that overall they are just...well, grey!
but i digress,........what i'm trying to say is thank you to anyone who has/does look at my journal. all views and comments are greatly appreciated. blip is a great thing to be a part of. the best thing is i have made some good friends here. most of you i will probably never meet. you can always try and make one of the infamous blip meets here in the big smoke. 42 and scobes, did you realise that it's almost a year since the event that seemed to kick start these meets. man it feels like i have known you guys so much longer...................i mean that in a good way. honestly....
i must pay tribute to someone who has probably kept me blipping over the last few months (apart from the perfect run issue, yes that's right the bit above). yep a man i met at one of these "blip meets" and who at them has become the wise to my morcambe, the costello to my abbott, the milhouse to my bart (just to bring it up to date) and the soon to be new Mrs McD, Bisk. i am kidding about the new Mrs thing, but cheers mate and we'll just leave that there.

guess i better wrap this up but it's been so long since i had a good old ramble on blip i might as well make the most of it. so thank you again to all the others that i haven't mentioned and to the rest of you. the variety of people out there, all with different talents and skills and points of view to bring to blip are just a few of the things i love about this place. so thanks again.

quick milestone roundup.

couple of tracks before i go- track one, love the lyrics and the energy in this.
track 2, something mellow to end on.
