Hornberg - Falconry show

Schloss Hornberg.
A falconry show today at the ruins of castle Hornberg.
The falconer presented his birds and talked about them with passion. It was clear to see he loves his birds and they love him.
The final bird he showed was a big bald eagle (the big one with the white head - the american eagle). The impressive bird flew far away and came back after the falconer shouted his name once.

The he trew him up in the air again and the big one dived gracefully into the valley. That wasnt exactly meant to be, it was supposed to go high up in the sky and circle around.
Now, due to a wrong wind, it wouldn’t be possible for it to return.
A bit of panic showed in the mans eyes when he came out with a receiver that could track the birds antenna.

A quick ‘ that’s it folks, thank you’ and the show was over; together with his receiver he vanished in his van as quickly as the bird had done just before….

I hope they are reunited by now.

On the photo a falcon, from the beginning of the show.
