Sunday 5 August 2012: VALENTINO
Notice one of Valentino's ears is pricked - that's because he is listening to loud thunder rumbling. He - and Tigerlily - weren't keen on it. This afternoon we had a terrible storm - thunder, lightning and really heavy rain. More flooding in the North East - people advised to stay at home as many roads were impassable. I wasn't worried about flooding as we have never flooded here but I was worried in case the lightning took out my electrical appliances - again. Luckily everything survived. The storm only lasted about half an hour and then it was quite a nice afternoon.
Watched Andy Murray get the Gold medal - brilliant. And this evening there are lots of athletics finals to watch. Am really enjoying the Olympics.
