First day of autumn

Just where is this year going? Autumn already?! For the last couple of months Ann has pretty much just lain on our very sunny sun terrace, read a lot of trashy magazines and drunk rather a lot of white wine................... It's been bliss!!  However, this very self indulgent lifestyle now seems to be catching up with her. Lol!

Today she went to work this morning, came home, sat on the sun terrace for half an hour (it was hot but not sunny) and then took me for my walk on the dunes. I love playing on the dunes. Look at my happy, smiley face in this Blip. We walked for about an hour but when we got home do you know what Ann said?.............. She said, 'Molly, that walk has exhausted me. I need to lie down for a hour or so.' She's come to the conclusion that all this lying around in the sun this summer has slowed her down. Or maybe she's just getting old?!

Anyway the nights are drawing in and soon it will be Christmas so she'll be cutting down on the amount of wine that she drinks in the evening sunshine, and perhaps now that it's autumn she'll be able to get all the little domesticated jobs done that she'd intended to do two months ago?????
