Eat Local

We had a light rain today, finally. This makes us all happy. Well, except for the bugs. And we are finally having a break from the intense heat. We are down to four hens now. We lost Tuesday a month ago. We're fairly certain it was the oppressive heat, but the rest of the girls are doing fine. Still laying most days.

Accomplished some big chores today, organized, straightened, and tidied the garage space. Also sorted paper work. Now on to reconciling the last four months of business. How easy it gets away from me....still better than last year. Hurray for small victories!
