Green-veined white in the sunshine

They are replacing some pipes and causing chaos on the road near me. They've dumped huge heaps of soil on the carpark for one of the Nature reserves and I was curious to see if they had done any damage.

I also wanted to see if there were any blue butterflies there as I'd seen a Common Blue earlier in the season.

One blue flew high up and out of reach. So the answer was yes, but no photos. There was a larger and darker butterfly that rushed past - was that my elusive peacock ? It wasn't staying to let me find out.

But this green-veined white decided to pose on some of the prettiest flowers.
