Friday 10 August 2012: Leith from Calton Hill
I wanted something that would mark just how beautiful a day we have enjoyed here in Edinburgh. After a slightly dodgy start we've had wall to wall sunshine today, and it's been really warm. Fabulous. Shame I had to work.
Well, after to work I headed up to Calton Hill to get a photo to memorialise just how fabulous the weather is. I think you need a large one of these.
Now we're sitting in front of the Olympics watching the second to the last night of athletics. It's nearly over. Phew. I can get over things... Anyway, meanwhile I think Michael Johnson is an absolute hero. Intelligent, articulate, and always great to listen to.
