Cones never sleep?
Day and night,
whenever they are in sight,
they do their job.
But if no-one is watching,
does a cone still work?
Or does it shirk?
Take a nap, have a snooze?
But when they are needed,
they are always there
making people aware,
of the latest hole in the road.
Cones never sleep.
