Wednesday 15 August 2012: The Road to Nowhere
Actually that's factually incorrect as that very high bridge carries the A52 over the Ruhr valley up to D'dorf and beyond, but The Road to Nowhere is one of my favourite songs by Talking Heads...
I was out early this morning, cycling. I normally run, but following Saturday's enforced 5k my left foot is poorly and I have to rest it.
Fortunately No. 1 son has outgrown his bike so when he got a new one I got his old one and it's so much better & lighter than my last one. The brakes don't squeak and it has more gears than I know what to do with, the only thing it lacks is a comfy saddle, seriously hard and pointy it is, shall have to do something about that...where is that Amazon tab...
