Winter wonderland

This morning we went for a walk in the forest. It was beautiful after a very heavy frost. In fact, it was so chilly that the little pond had frozen over and the ducks were having to walk across the ice! 'much to the delight of CJ and LJ!

CJ loved running in the crunchy grass, especially when it was through the morning mist. He was also fascinated by the froze dew drops sparkling on the trees.

After lunch in town and a quick nap from LJ, we all headed to the pools for a swim and soak.

The boys also had special bedtime stories, read by Grandad!
