Another .....

..... bike ride.

This evening I've had another bike ride. This time with my neighbour and friend Alison. Just a quick ride out to Bolton Abbey.

The road running through the golf course at the start of the route is normally half flooded like this and it makes for interesting cycling when a car is coming in the opposite direction.

Today there was a thin film of oil on the water, creating a rainbow of colours in the reflected clouds. It dosn't really show up that well on the photo, but it was the only thing that really caught my eye this evening on the bike ride. If you look closely you can just about see Allison going around the bend in the road in the middle of the picture.

What with all the work at the moment, I'm not really finding time to look for interesting things to blip ( hopefully normal service will resume next week ). So today's blip is .....
