Yellow Flower Succulent

Finding a flower in an improbable place always impresses me.

I call these plants "heroes" and believe they deserve respect for duty above and beyond.

This plant, with its beautiful little 5mm yellow flower, is growing all alone in the crack between the road pavement and the gutter.

On a day when the air temperature is 94, and the road temperature is a heck of a lot higher than that, it is definitely a plant hero to whom I tip my hat.
