Old Iron (Day 550)

There was very heavy rain overnight so the dogs and I sploshed up the hill through muddy puddles.
We were only home for a few minutes before my beautiful wife had to head off to work. I set about giving the boiler a really thorough clean, then trundled into town to get some wood. Back home, I made a bit of a start on a wood butchery project I have been meaning to do for ages, but just as I started the battery in the drill went flat. I opted to walk the dogs at Wasdale whilst the drill charged. I quite liked the gear wheels on the end of an old lathe lurking amongst the scrap.
Back home, the dogs lazed around whilst I made a fair bit of progress on the wood butchery. HV was reasonably impressed.
