Chanterelle Mushrooms!

Victor and Julie went mushroom hunting the other day and came home with a huge - and i mean humungous.....
crop of these amazing mushrooms. Last night they made the most divine quiche like dish....mostly made with a bechamel sauce...totally crowded with chanterelle mushrooms! There were many left, so i sauteed a whole bunch with garlic for lunch!!!

I loaded up another kiln....and will have a very exciting opening to deal with, tomorrow evening!!!! i really let loose with some of the new glazes, on a few big bowls....either they will end up with the hammer or a huge price tag...could go either way!!! but hey, you gotta take a risk now and again!

Terry and i headed up to Sydney....we purchased new phones....wow, they are pretty swanky!!! and i got some new brushes for the studio - to replace some that are about 30 years old...it's about time!!!! also got myself a lovely new big sketch book and some soft pastels......i'm gonna do some playing around this weekend!!! Dinner at our favorite Chinese place, and then home!!
