Sunday 19 August 2012: Margaret Skinner

We met this lovely lady on our walk this morning. She was just finishing her 71 mile walk from Lyme Regis to Studland to raise money for the Forces Children's Trust. The Trust supports children whose parents have been killed or seriously injured in active service. Margaret's son is serving in Afghanistan at the moment and won't be home with his wife and children until February. My heart went out to her as it must be so hard to say goodbye to your brave sons and daughters who are going to risk their lives every day. This Trust is so needed to help all the children who are finding it hard to cope.
She is an inspiration and a very positive lady.
