Lickey Church

I only had time for a brief lunchtime stroll today, and any plans for an evening walk were abandoned following a couple of hours of astonishingly torrential rain showers which seriously stressed out the drainage in our road.

I didn't spot much of interest on my lunchtime walk, so I have settled for this image of Holy Trinity Church. It is not a terribly interesting building, but the display of hydrangeas at least gave it a little splash of colour today.

Probably the most interesting thing about the church is the grave in the churchyard of Lord Herbert Austin, the motor manufacturer. That will no doubt feature in a future blip.
