Herdsman's Cabin

A very enjoyable day - friends round for  lunch then a blow away of the cobwebs doing the Farranamanagh loop. This takes you down by the lake, where we just caught a bit of rich sunlight and admired the swans, then then up onto the cliffs - first passing what is now believed to be an old herdsman's cabin and then on to the remains of the Bardic School. This cabin is tiny but the walls are still standing, solid and thick, its tiny window gazing out into Dunmanus Bay. My entry for Derelict Sunday - thanks evolybab  for hosting.

Excitement's building - the lads arrive tomorrow and incredibly and unusually conveniently, they arrive on the same flight!
