Wednesday 22 August 2012: Knills Monument

I went for a walk this morning camera in tow and as I walked I saw what I first thought was church spire but quickly realised it was an obelisk on a hill top. I found the path and went up only to find great views of St. Ives bay across the Lelant to Hayle. The long sands lead out to Godrevy Head and Godrevy Island

Carbis bay is where we have spent most time it is a picturesque family beach with a good cafe which does good pizza.
