Hop, Skip and Another Hop!

Carbis Bay again this afternoon. We have worked out that a morning doing stuff then an afternoon on the beach is the best plan. We have time to swim and play as well as time to sit or do. Today I mostly spent the morning playing with Thea while her Mum and Dad waited in A+E to have her Mum's broken toe seen to.

Thea and her Dad, Jonathan, were practicing for the fictitious Carbis Bay Games (there's a definite Olympic influence this holiday) and practicing the hop, skip and jump. Thea was struggling and announced that the competition would be hop, skip and another hop, because hop, skip and jump was too hard.

This was swiftly followed by synchronised cartwheels and speed digging of sand from under your Dad's deckchair until he falls over. Oh, and ice cream.
