New Year - New(ish) Moon!

Just down the road from Mum-in-Law's house in Macclesfield we saw this view of the new(ish) moon over a row of chimneys and aerials. The view was made a little more interesting by the presence of Venus glowing brightly near the moon (at least I'm pretty sure it's Venus).

I thought this could make an acceptable New Year blip.
