Still Alive

...Just finished my library book! A charming and humorous read. Recommended to fans of AMS.

The glass of wine was lying around because Steve had poured it. I am off the sauce at the moment, in the interest of bringing down my blood pressure. The chillis would have been used in a veggie chilli, except that we already had a Waitrose curry in the fridge. So the chilli can wait. Plenty of winter nights still to come.

I've just had a bath and come down to watch James May reassembling a 1960s Dansette. I realised that this is what I grew up with, though we called it by its generic name, 'record player'.Suddenly the 1960s are incredibly in vogue, which is fun if you were born in 1964.
