ode to mini's...

...in this case - a miniture pitcher

or it could be a very small creamer, i guess... of the irish variety... back when my sister lived in town with me - too many years to count, really - she got me interested in collecting small pitchers... why? dunno... they're interesting - come in a lot of shapes and sizes - colors - from different places... and it gave us something to do together - as we carted the kids around in their strollers... we learned a bit in those days - regarding glass... when they were manufactured and where - and generally had fun together being amazed at the size of some of them...

this little one for example - is not only ireland made - it's rather tiny, measuring only about an inch and a half tall - so how one might utilize it for cream is beyond me - plus it's too delicate to be used in a doll house setting... as i was preparing to move, i sorted through all my various treasures - giving up many of them because of space restrictions... i kept some though - like this one - because of its unusualness... i've never seen another like it - i do have irish heritage on daddy's side of the family - so it would've felt wrong to get rid of it... this way the luck of the irish'll stay with me, right - making for...

a

happy day.....
