I've blipped this rock before looking a bit sinister in profile, earthdreamery recently blipped it smokin'.

I was surprised this evening to see this sheep stand for some time surveying the grand vista at the top, occasionally another sheep would join it, only to retreat quickly. It gave a sense of being the "one", the "sheep of sheep" or maybe it was just breathing in the splendour of the evening light.

I've been taken once more by the drama and awesomeness of the athletes, this time in the para-olympics. Again and in more ways watching them challenges all kinds of things about the things that limit us and our poor prejudices.
You can't but be impressed by the wheelchair basket ball, those guys are so powerful and controlled. Ellie Simmonds' efforts and emotional response had the nation awed, and Hannah Cockrofts' smile after winning her 100m wheelchair race even outshone her athletic efforts (Yorkshire lass that she is).
