The Great Cake Caper...

Today was Caths tea party in Burnley library, as an end of project celebration for the workshops she has been running over the summer. It was a really lovely afternoon, with creative drop in workshops for people to take part in, a display of the work the groups have created, and a lovely spread of cakes and drinks too. We hid messages in books for people to find in the future... created sculptures with pebbles... and made drawings with pens attached to long sticks.

I loved this shot I got of one of the youngest participants, looking caught out amongst the cakes... She was checking out/rearranging/choosing from the cake selection in between making a hat, and working on an elaborate collage.
