Being WildCardinal...

Newlands Valley

Glorious weather up in the lakes today, so took the opportunity to walk Cat Bells. Rather than going the 'common route' I started at Little Town (very little!) and came up the south west side.

I've never been up Cat Bells before, and the views were stunning. Derwent water below, and across to Bassenthwaite below Skiddaw. This shot was taken coming down the west side, looking back up Newlands Valley. I love how all the pikes are feeding down in to the valley.

A well deserved rarebit at Abraham's in Keswick afterwards - what more could one want from a Sunday? LPH in the afternoon for the start of the workshop (B&W) - looks to be a fun bunch of people this week.

Backblip for yesterday.
