Winter Storm....

....has arrived , much worse down by Lake Ontario than further north of the city for once. We have received some snow and blustery winds with a windchill of -15c today. Not many visitors to the garden and they did not stay long to find some food then shelter. Little Black squirrel made a quick meal of some peanuts and ran back to his warm nest. On a sad note ...we lost one of our Mourning Doves to Mr. Cooper late yesterday afternoon. I know Mr. Cooper has to eat but wish he would find another garden to dine in! Spring is about a week away but does not feel like it today. Brrrrrr.................
