A Beautiful House

In the Britain of my youth brick houses were the norm and in some areas local stone was used to lovely effect.  When I arrived in Sweden I was impressed by the many wooden houses.
Here is a lovely example found on the way home from Östersund, by the main road in the small town of Bräcke, just opposite the station.
Judging by the style it is at least 70 years old but looks in wonderful condition with many beautiful details. I love the tower in the middle, and the windows on the top floor of the tower, curved at the top, the colours it's painted in, that roof of sheet metal....  Well, take a look yourself and admire!
Yesterday was my retirement do so the (back) blip went up a short while ago here.
