Thursday 30 August 2012: Ring Tailed Lemur
I have to say that I am totally smitten with these ring tailed Lemurs. Today we went on a short hike into the mountains and valleys to a natural pool. It was dry arid country and reminded me a bit of our Kimberley District in Australia. There was a little oasis where the natural pool was. Some of us had a swim in the icy cold water. Near the pool were quite a few of these ring tailed Lemurs. I just love how they wrap their long tail around themselves when they are resting.
