Medal!

Eoghan cycled the Glasgow to Edinburgh cycle run today. Three hours fifteen minutes which included queuing up at water points and a lunch stop in Linlithgow. He was very chuffed. At the end you got to cycle into Murrayfield Stadium and along the track. Big bonus. He started cycling again recently to get fit and lose weight. He's succeeded with both big time. It's taken dedication and hard work but it's all worth it. This is his medal which is appropriate as I'm watching the closing ceremony of the Paralympics. This sporting feast over the last two weeks has been mesmerising and humbling. And magnificent. Truly truly magnificent. You feel ashamed to moan about anything in the face of the Paralympians achievements.
