...today after yesterday's events. The surgeon said the holes left by the screws in the still-soft bones present weaknesses which mean further breaks at those points are likely if I don't take care. It will take a further 6 months to heal over. No extreme sports are on the cards then, or slipping over on a slight slope in the Lake District.
