La vida de Annie

By Annie

Guacamayo.

During a pre-birthday trip to the garden centre, the resident macaw started following Buster with intent, as usual. He then took an interest in the newspaper I was trying to read, going as far as sitting on the arm of my chair and pecking at my hand holding it, with its fearsome beak. I made sounds of alarm but a couple of shoppers merely took camera photos and wandered away. I managed to escape by swatting it with the paper and leaving it on the table, where the creature proceeded to shred it. Either it hated today's news (who wouldn't?) or it was hoping for a treat from the vending machine (see extra). I know it has history of a twiglet habit. Whatever the reason, it was one angry bird.
