The warning was issued valid from 13.00 to 23.00 today in SE England and we were not disappointed!  The new plants certainly got a thorough watering and a bit of a bashing in the process but really we got off quite lightly.Last night Violet stayed over and was on hand to assist with the preparations for her party tomorrow.  Due to the rain this afternoon we confined ourselves to indoor jobs and hopefully the skies will be clear tomorrow when we set about organising the garden.
I managed to pop out after the storms to take a quick picture of one of roses, bearing up remarkably well after its drenching.  No alternative flower pic today, too busy!
