Drips on plastic

I have a small project at the moment - to make a bird feeder for the garden from plastic bottles.  

First thing - gather plastic bottles from around and about.

Secondly - wash them thoroughly.

Third - dry them.  It seems this isn't quite as easy as it sounds.  These wretched drops have lingered a l-o-n-g time but I think they may be doomed tonight as they're about to spend some time on a heater.  Don't want the seed to go soggy!
